Shipping Policy

Effective Date: January 2025

1. Shipping Origin

All products are shipped from China, directly from OASIS PLANTER manufacturing facilities or designated export warehouses. Our shipping address is: Sanhuan Road, Chaoan District, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, China.

2. Shipping Methods

We offer flexible shipping options tailored to your order volume and urgency:

  • Sea Freight (LCL/FCL): The most economical method for bulk orders. Recommended for standard inventory replenishment.
  • Air Freight: Available for urgent samples or smaller, time-sensitive shipments.
  • Express Courier (DHL/FedEx/UPS): Primarily used for sample delivery and documentation.
  • Rail Freight: Available for specific destinations in Europe and Central Asia as a middle-ground alternative.

3. Incoterms

Our standard quotations are based on FOB Shenzhen (Free On Board). However, we can accommodate other Incoterms 2020 rules upon request:

  • EXW (Ex Works): Customer arranges pickup from our factory.
  • CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight): We arrange shipping and insurance to your destination port.
  • DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): Available for select regions; we handle everything up to your door.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the total volume (CBM), gross weight, and final destination of your order. Freight quotes provided are valid for 14 days due to fluctuating global shipping rates. For FOB orders, local port charges in China are included in the product price.

5. Production & Shipping Lead Time

  • Production Lead Time: Typically 35–40 days after deposit confirmation and sample approval.
  • Transit Time (Sea Freight):
    • US West Coast: ~18–25 days
    • US East Coast: ~30–40 days
    • Europe: ~25–35 days
    • Australia: ~15–20 days
    • Southeast Asia: ~7–10 days

6. Packaging for Shipment

We prioritize safe transit. All ceramic and cement planters are packed using export-standard packaging methods:

  • Palletized shipments for LCL to prevent handling damage.
  • High-density foam corners and bubble wrap for individual unit protection.
  • Reinforced corrugated cardboard boxes (5-ply or 7-ply).
  • Wooden crates available for extra-large or fragile items (fumigated per ISPM 15 standards).

7. Customs & Duties

Unless shipped under DDP terms, the buyer is responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees at the destination country. Oasis Planter will provide all necessary documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin) to facilitate clearance.

8. Risk of Loss

Risk of loss passes to the buyer according to the Incoterm agreed upon. For FOB shipments, risk transfers to the buyer once the goods are loaded on the vessel at the port of departure. We strongly recommend purchasing marine cargo insurance for all shipments.

9. Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, our logistics team will provide you with the Bill of Lading (B/L) number and vessel details. You can track the shipment via the carrier's website or through our updates.

10. Damaged Shipments

Despite our best packaging efforts, damage can occur during transit. If your shipment arrives damaged:

  • Inspect your shipment immediately upon arrival.
  • Notate any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing.
  • Take photos of the damaged packaging and products.
  • Report the issue to us within 5 business days of receipt.

We will assist you in filing an insurance claim or providing replacements/credits per our Quality Guarantee policy.
